‘The path to Indigenise the planet starts by walking in the footstep of our ancestors’

Indigenise is an international collaboration between
Indigenise Pty Limited (Australia) and Indigenise LLC (USA)

We are a grass roots, community based Indigenous owned enterprise established on core Indigenous values of sharing, caring and reciprocal kinship responsibilities. We hope to support Indigenous communities, non-Indigenous agencies, and organizations to improve overall health, education, and economic wellbeing in society.

The development of Indigenise grew out of the need for government to be culturally responsive to the needs of ‘grass roots’ community. Indigenise aims to address the barriers encountered by communities during the co-design and delivery of programs and initiatives. It is based on the GOTO Healing methodology and is developed through the framework of the UN Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples.

We focus on capacity building to empower communities to establish equitable, self determined partnerships. Our work is trauma informed and supports the development of innovative solutions by specializing in community engagement, consultantancy, technical assistance, strategic planning, and project management services.

Our vision is to bring about healing and resurgence for Indigenous communities world-wide; to build kinship and connection amongst all peoples through the protection of the circle of life; and give people the responsibly of ‘belonging’ to each other and the natural world to heal the earth for future generations.

Our mission is to build inter-tribal and inter-cultural networks of connection; build community capacity for cultural and environmental sustainability by empowering self-directed change; and create a coalition of First Peoples in a movement to Indigenise societies.
